The African Youth Leadership Summit is a Two-days event that focuses on the core challenges encountered by youth leaders. Through a competitive screening process, AYLS brings a diverse group of young delegates from the whole continent together with distinguished experts, innovators, and leaders in the public, private, and non-profit sectors for a journey of collective exploration, reflection, and networking.
The AYLS seeks to bring together leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to share their knowledge and insights. The summit is designed to provide a platform for African professionals and organizations to discuss new innovations and best practices in AI, discuss challenges and opportunities in the field, and explore the latest developments in AI across the continent. The summit will also feature keynote presentations from global leaders in the AI space, and an interactive platform for attendees to network and discuss their projects.

The AI and Economic Development in Africa panel will explore the potential of artificial intelligence to drive economic growth and development in Africa, including improving productivity, creating new jobs, and increasing competitiveness on the global stage. Experts from academia, government, and the private sector will discuss the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption in Africa, as well as the policies and regulations needed to ensure responsible and sustainable AI development on the continent.

The Opportunities of AI in Africa workshop will explore the potential of artificial intelligence to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the continent, from increasing access to healthcare to improving agricultural productivity. Participants will engage in a hands-on exploration of AI-based solutions and learn how to leverage this technology for social and economic good in Africa.
